The Square Kitchen

One of my favourite things about Bristol is that as much as you like to think you know the city, there is always something new to discover. I’d heard of The Square before, and I think even been to a work party in its Christmas Grotto one year, but I had no idea that it had its own restaurant with a pretty bangin’ menu. A couple of weeks ago, I went along with some blogging friends to try it for myself.

Springtime at The Stable

Is there anything better than a slice or two (or ten) of delicious sourdough pizza washed down by some proper West Country cider? I can guarantee that there is just one thing – indulging in a cider tasting and The Stable‘s brand new Spring menu on a warm(ish) April evening.

Keepers Kitchen & Bar

When an email plopped into my inbox asking if I’d like to go and see the redesign of the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel and their brand new restaurant, Keepers, I was intrigued. I’d visited it previously a few years ago and had a perfectly pleasant evening there, but with the promise of Victorian architecture mixed with Bristol’s vibrant street-art scene and a relaxed restaurant vibe, I was looking forward to seeing how they’d given it a fresh new look. The Burger Joint

I think it was my second year of uni when I first discovered The Burger Joint. Their burgers were the best way to start the night and man, I still have dreams about their sweet potato fries! A trip to Kiehl’s

I don’t know about you guys, but winter wreaks havoc with my skin. It seems to make the dry bits super sensitive and the oily bits super shiny…neither of which are my ideal beauty look for the new season. Luckily, Kiehl’s got in touch to see if I wanted to come and visit them in their new space in John Lewis Cribbs Causeway for a skin consultation – I was sat at their marble countertop before you could say the word ‘moisturiser’.
