IMG_2869I am a big fan of making resolutions. Last year alone I made about 30 (I know, I might be insane). Most of my friends where horrified at the thought, saying how hard it is to keep one, let alone 30, but I prefer it this way. It allows me to spread them out, taking me through the year, rather than focussing on one and giving up on it by the end of January. If I don’t quite manage something this month, maybe I’ll get to do it next month.

Walking up to the Institute of Contemporary Arts for the Thomas Pink AW16 presentation, it was impossible not to notice that the entrance was illuminated in hot pink. After entering the building and climbing a flight of stairs, there could have been no doubt in anyone’s mind who the party was for – typography spilled over walls and floors, touting the simple but effective tagline ‘Any colour, as long as it’s Pink’.

As I made my way in the pouring rain towards Victoria House, the second of two LCM showspaces where I was expecting to find the Soulland AW16 Presentation, my eyes were drawn towards Bloomsbury Square Gardens, where lights were flashing and a group of very attractive people were standing under clear umbrellas.
